NYSC News: In the latest development, Corps Members have been warned to respect the tradition and cultural values of their host communities and avoid every act of misbehaviour throughout their service year.

NYSC Director-General, Brigadier-General Suleiman Kazaure gave this warning today while addressing the 2018 Batch ‘A’ Corps Members at Yobe State Orientation Camp in Potiskum. 
He said there was the need to ensure peaceful co-existence among all Nigerians irrespective of tribal, religious or political differences. 
The NYSC Chief Executive specifically advised the female Corps Members to avoid provocative dresses which might contradict the norms and beliefs of their new environment. 
He also warned them against unauthorised journey which might endanger their lives but added that they should obtain permission from relevant authorities if it is compulsory for them to travel. 
General Kazaure told the Corps Members to avoid night parties adding that they should be moderate in their conduct. 
“Try and behave like graduates and conduct yourselves very well. Serve as good ambassadors of your family, NYSC and Nigeria’, the DG said. 
While briefing the Director-General on Camp situation, Yobe State Coordinator, Mrs Grace Adzer said a total of 1,494 Corps Members were registered out of which 90 got instant redeployment on health and marital grounds. 
She commended the entire Camp Officials for teamwork which has contributed immensely to effective Camp administration. Adzer told General Kazaure that the Corps Members had been co-opted into the various committees in camp.
