Additionally, according to the Facebook Help Center, when you block someone on Facebook, you also won’t be able to do things like start a conversation with them or add them as a friend.

ON iPhone App
1. Tap the three-horizontal lines icon
2. Tap Settings & Privacy

ON Android App

How to block people on your browser
To block someone on your personal computer, do the following;
1. Click the V-SHAPE ICON at the top right of Facebook
2. Choose Settings.
3. Navigate to the left column of Facebook and click Blocking
4. Next, choose Blocking in the left side menu.
