Here’s What to Do If You Can’t access Facebook Marketplace

Bear in mind that marketplace isn’t available to everyone right now.

If you don’t see the shortcut at the top of Facebook.com, try visiting Marketplace from the menu:

 1. From Facebook.com, tap Main Menu.

2. Tap Marketplace.

Who can access Marketplace?

Because we’re still actively developing and improving Marketplace, we’re opening up access to Marketplace slowly.

 We understand that you may want to use Facebook to buy and sell things, and want you to know that you can still use buy and sell groups.

 If you can’t access Marketplace, keep in mind that Marketplace isn’t available to everyone.

To use Marketplace, you must be:

18 years or older. 

• Not new to Facebook: To prevent fraud, accounts that have been created very recently can’t access Marketplace. If you recently created your account, check back later to see if you have access.

Using the latest version of Facebook on Android or iOS: Make sure to download the latest version of the app. Keep in mind that Marketplace is only available on the iPhone 5 or more recent models.

Lost Access to Marketplace.

 If you used Marketplace in a way that goes against our Commerce Policies or Community Standards, your access to Marketplace may have been removed.

 If you think you’ve followed our policies, please contact us so we can take another look:

1. Go to Facebook.com/marketplace

2. Tap Request Review. 

Facebook will review your appeal and respond to you within a week. Check for updates in your Support Inbox or the email associated with your Facebook account.

Note: If your Marketplace access has been restored, you may need to refresh Facebook.com or download the latest version of the app.
