How do I change the privacy for a group I admin?
To change the privacy for a group you admin:
1. Tap Main Menu then selects your group.
2. Tap More then tap View Group Info.
3. Tap Edit Group Settings.
4. Below Privacy, tap Change Privacy.
5. Choose a new privacy setting, tap Continue and then tap Confirm.
For all groups:
• Groups are limited to one privacy setting change every 28 days.
• Once the privacy setting is changed, admins have 24 hours to change it back if they’d like to.
• All groups can always change their privacy to a more restrictive setting.
For groups with 5,000 members or more:
• Closed groups can’t change their privacy to public.
• Secret groups can change their privacy to closed, but not to the public.
For groups with fewer than 5,000 members:
• The privacy of the group can be changed to any setting (public, closed or secret).
Note: All members of your group will receive a notification when you change the privacy.
