10. After filling the prompt information, click on the ‘Deactivate’ button for deactivation.
11. Facebook will once again ask you to confirm your decision to deactivate Facebook account. Click on the Deactivate Now button to immediately *deactivate Facebook account*.
To deactivate Messenger without Facebook account, do the following:
1. First, open Messenger.
2. Tap your profile picture in the top left corner > Privacy & Terms > Deactivate Messenger.
