1. Open your device and tap on the facebook app icon
2. Enter your login details and tap on the login button to continue to your facebook profile
3. Tap on your facebook profile
4. Next, tap on the three-dotted icon
5. Now, tap on the search profile
6. Tap on filters at the top left corner of the page
7. Select on any of the options(either most recent or posts you’ve seen) and tap on show results
8. Now slide the options at the top and you should see clear. Tap on it

Now, let’s consider how to delete facebook search history using your computer.
How To Clear Facebook Search History Using Computer
To delete your Facebook search history, do the following:
1. From facebook.com enter your login details and tap on the login button
2. Tap on the search button
3. If you want to delete your most recent searches, tap on the X icon at the far right of the item you want to delete.
4. To delete all your searches, tap on the edit button at the top right corner of the search button.
5. Now, scroll to the search you want to delete. And tap on the circular object (Edit button). See the screenshot below.
6. Next, tap on the delete button that appears and the item will be deleted from your facebook search/
Bear in mind that when once you delete any item from your facebook search history, you won’t be able to get it back.
Another thing that is worthy of note here is that deleting the searches from the filters will also remove them from everywhere else they appear.
A typical example, this will also erase the Facebook search bar’s recent searches drop-down list after you delete the names from here.
