Arsenal Fc Sign Back Cesc Fabregas From AS Monaco

The Pass Master is Back to the Emirates!

Following the sensational sign back of former rejected stone Romelu Lukaku by Chelsea from Inter Milan, Manchester United have joined the train by bringing back the Greatest of All Time – GOAT Christiano Ronaldo to the Old Trafford. Well, when i thought that was the peak of the drama in the 2021 season transfer window Mikel Arteta brought the shocker of all with a welcome back of former Arsenal midfield wizard Cesc Fabregas back to the emirate stadium.

Though Mikel Arteta’s eyes have been on Lyon ace, Aouar which has proved to be a mission impossible, the Spaniard has made a big sensational move to land his former team mate Cesc Fabregas.

The move which has sprouted mixed reactions from the gunners fans has also become hot debate topic for most football analysts as to if there is still more sensation left of the Spaniard after struggling to find his footing at AS Monaco. Well, if it seems to be working for Chelsea and Manchester United are in high hopes that Christiano Ronaldo would bring back their glory then how can it be different with the gunners?. Time shall tell.

Despite a lack of regular minutes for Niko Kovac’s side in 2020-21, Cesc Fabregas has vowed to stay at Monaco until the end of his contract.
Fabregas left Chelsea for Stade Louis II in January 2019, bringing an end to a highly successful five-year tenure at Stamford Bridge.
The World Cup winner has since helped Monaco re-emerge as a major force in Ligue 1, and although he has been in and out of the team this season, he has no intention of walking away from the club before his current deal expires in 2022.

Many causes may have contributed to the club’s precipitous collapse in recent years. This might range from a lack of investment when the team was on the rise to the previous executive’s poor contract management. Let’s set that aside and concentrate on the on-field issues that are causing Arsenal to be as bad as they are right now, notably the midfield.

Arsene Wenger used a blend of technique and physicality throughout the club’s most successful eras, with Patrick Vieira and Gilberto Silva establishing a fearsome midfield tandem. One would be in charge of screening, while the other would be in charge of influencing both ends of the pitch.

It made Arsenal difficult to play against while also allowing them to use their technical superiority to put Freddie Ljungberg, Dennis Bergkamp, Robert Pires, and, of course, Thierry Henry in dangerous situations. The midfield was flexible; no player was assigned to a single constricted zone, and responsibilities were shared over the middle of the field.

The midfield was fluid; no player was assigned to a single confined area, and responsibilities were distributed evenly over the field.

Unfortunately, the regime of Granit Xhaka under Mikel Arteta remains under fluke as there has not been that taste of consistency as in the good old days. Will Fabregas take the gunners to the good old glory days? Oh wake me up.
