Cristiano Ronaldo Remains The Greatest Of All Time Footballer

Cristiano Ronaldo Shirts Made £32.5 Million In Sales In Just 12 Hours

Cristiano Ronaldo has already become the most popular shirt seller in the Premier League this summer thanks to his sales at Manchester United.

Ronaldo’s return to United, which he left for Real Madrid 12 years ago, was only formally confirmed on Transfer Deadline Day on Tuesday.

The 36-year-old was later confirmed as the team’s new number seven, with Edinson Cavani shifting to 21, the shirt worn by Daniel James before he departed the club for Leeds United.

Fans raced to Old Trafford on Friday in droves to be among the first to get their hands on this season’s uniform, which features Ronaldo’s name on the back.

Outside United’s stadium, it appears that fans weren’t the only ones buying jerseys on Friday and early Saturday, as the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has already sold out of stuff.

According to LoveTheSales.com, Ronaldo’s number seven shirt has sold £32.5 million worth of replicas in just 12 hours since it went on sale.

According to the site, those stats make it the fastest-selling shirt in Premier League history, with reports that at the present rate, United will recoup their investment by the end of the weekend, but that seems exceedingly doubtful.

According to their figures, Ronaldo has sold more shirts this summer than anyone else in the Premier League, surpassing Manchester City’s summer addition Jack Grealish.

It’s not just jerseys that are flying off the shelves now that Ronaldo has returned to Manchester from Juventus, with his first game back proving to be a huge success.

CR7 is expected to make his comeback against Newcastle United next Saturday, with tickets going for as high as £2500 on resale sites.

The fact that fans in England can’t see the game on television until Sky Sports airs extended highlights at 5.15 p.m. has surely contributed to the higher prices.

The game starts at 3 p.m., and while there is still a football blackout in the country, fans from other countries will be allowed to watch it.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner played for United for six years and is considered a club legend. He was reportedly ready to join Manchester City at one point on Friday, according to reports, and one fan was outraged. He recorded himself burning a ‘Ronaldo 7’ jersey in his garden, oblivious to the fact that it would later be useful.

Ronaldo informed Juventus that he would not be returning to the club, and he departed training on Friday morning. In a press conference, manager Max Allegri acknowledged the 36-year-intention old’s to depart and admitted there were no bitter feelings.

“Cristiano Ronaldo informed me yesterday that he does not intend to stay at Juventus,” Allegri revealed ahead of Saturday’s match against Empoli. “As a result, he has not been chosen.”

When asked if he was disappointed, Allegri responded: “No, it’s not true. He made a decision. [Omar] Sivori, [Alessandro] Del Piero, and [Zinedine] Zidane are among the players that have left the club. The most important thing is that Juve is still there.”

Manchester United will make more than £30 million in the next 12 months as a result of re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo, with sponsors coming up to get a piece of the action.

‘Now is the moment to get involved with United,’ says Dr. Rob Wilson, a football finance expert at Sheffield Hallam University, who believes the signing might signal the start of Manchester United dominating English football once more.

“You’ve got a match made in heaven here. Manchester United signed significant commercial arrangements 10 to 12 years ago that are about to expire.” Wilson stated, ” “Of course, they are now without a training ground sponsor. In my opinion, their sporting performance has been so terrible that they have been unable to negotiate a price that is worth what they believe their training facility is worth. As a result, they haven’t signed one.”
