Apple iPhone 13 Sales Statistics

Apple iPhone 13 series expected to sell over 80 million units in 3 months of release

Apple has seen some outstanding sales results for the iPhone 13 series, and the corporation is now expected to extend its advantage with bumper sales in the current quarter, which runs from October to December this year.

According to a new report from Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives (via AppleInsider), Apple is expected to sell over 80 million iPhones in the current holiday quarter, which also happens to be the company’s first fiscal quarter in 2022.

It’s also been reported that Apple might sell 40 million iPhones between Black Friday and Christmas. Not only that, but Apple AirPods are predicted to sell up to 100 million units this quarter.

This is in line with what J. P. Morgan expected based on the iPhone 13 series’ delivery times. Demand for the 2021 iPhone models is outstripping supply by roughly 15%, according to the investment group, as the delivery timetable grows longer.

The global processor scarcity has hampered Apple’s iPhone production, as it does many other goods, and the expected shipment time for the iPhone 13 was weeks long, costing the corporation $6 billion. According to the source, Apple suppliers have been able to alleviate component shortages, and with increased manufacturing, the company will be able to address supply and demand difficulties.

According to a recent poll, the iPhone 13 family is more divided than ever before, with the two Pro models outperforming their vanilla siblings in terms of fan interest.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max, in particular, garnered a large majority of good votes, with approximately 70% more positive votes than the smaller iPhone 13 Pro. And the two are head and shoulders above the 13 and 13 mini.

Sure, many people don’t want a new iPhone, and Apple isn’t interested in conquering the entire market. However, it cannot be disregarded that the most expensive model is by far the most coveted.

It’s not difficult to figure out what happened. The Pro variants are the first iPhones to feature an LTPO display, which means a 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as a more powerful version of the Apple A15 chipset (with 5 GPU cores instead of 4) and a more powerful version of the Apple A15 chipset.

In addition, the camera configuration has been improved. It obviously has a telephoto lens (a new one with 3x magnification). The main camera features a brighter aperture (f/1.5 vs. F/1.6) and bigger pixels (1.9 m vs. 1.7 m). The Pros’ super wide camera now has autofocus, allowing it to take macro images as well.

The Pro Max, on the other hand, does not have a camera edge over the smaller Pro this year. The 12 Pro Max included a bigger sensor (1.7 million pixels vs. 1.4 million pixels) with sensor-shift OIS, as well as a greater magnification tele camera (2.5x vs. 2x). The Pro and Pro Max differ mostly in size and associated features this year (i.e. battery capacity).
