The S8 may not be consumption friendly with its powerful engine as it makes 13mpg city, 22highway, and 16 combined.

Standard on the S8 is a rear-wheel steering and the active rear differential, plus summer performance tires on 21-inch wheels. The 60 mph is achievable in 3.8 seconds while the plug-in hybrid launches the car to 60 mph in about 4.9 seconds.

Safety Features
The high-end luxury Audi A8 comes packed with driver-assistance technology that helps the car stay safe. However, most of the features are optional. Automatic emergency braking, lane departure warnings, front and rear parking sensors, a spate of airbags, and, new for 2021, a surround-view camera system are standard on all the A8.
