It’s easy if you follow these simple steps!
What are the different Snapchat cameras?
The type of camera you use to take a snap will depend on what you want to capture and your preferences. The Snapchat camera is always available for you to take a picture, but there are three other types of cameras you can use:
* Front-facing Camera: This is the front-facing lens that captures video and stills. It’s perfect for days when you want to show off your hair, makeup, or outfit!
* Rear-facing Camera: This is the rear-facing lens that captures video and stills. It’s perfect for capturing the moment from behind the scenes or letting your followers see what it’s like to be at an event.
* Superzoom: This camera offers a retina display and allows you to zoom in up to 10x without losing quality. Use this camera if you want to capture something far away or it if interests you how small things look from really close up.
What is the Front-facing camera?
The front-facing camera is the camera that faces you. It’s used to take selfies, so it’s perfect for when you want to share with your friends what you’re up to.
What is the Rear-facing camera?
The rear-facing camera is the one that you see when you open Snapchat. This is the primary camera and the one most people use to take photos and videos. The rear-facing camera allows you to take video in landscape mode.
How to change your settings.
Changing your settings is a perfect first step for those new to Snapchat. By going to the settings tab, you should see a list of options. From here, you can toggle on additional features like front-facing flash and night mode.
You can also change your username or email, as well as adjust how long your Snapchat videos are saved before they are automatically deleted from the app. If you want to change what happens when your phone locks, you can opt to have it save your snaps after one second instead of 10 seconds.
The possibilities are endless with these simple steps!
How to use your camera
There are three cameras that you can use to snap and send photos and videos. If you want to change the camera in your Snapchat app, here’s how:
1. Tap on the camera icon at the top right of your screen.
2. Tap on the camera icon at the left side of your screen (to switch between selfie and rear-facing cameras).
3. Tap on the button with a plus sign (+) in it to add another lens or a front-facing camera (to switch between lenses).
4. Tap on the X button to remove any lenses or front-facing cameras you don’t want.
Unlocking your phone’s different cameras
The first step in using your Snapchat camera is unlocking it. On iPhones, you can unlock your phone’s default camera by pressing the circular button at the bottom of the screen.
On Android devices, the two main ways to unlock your camera are by swiping down or by clicking an icon.
Once you have unlocked your phone’s default camera, you have to change your settings so that they are appropriate for what you want to do with your snaps. There are three settings that will help you get better-looking pictures: Background Blur, Color Filters, and Geofilters.
Camera settings
Snapchat has a variety of camera settings. From the front-facing to the different lenses, you have a lot of options.
You can use a filter to give your photos a more artsy style, or you can take a photo through the lens. To unlock these features, swipe up from the bottom of your screen and select Camera Settings from the menu that pops up.
Capturing memories
Snapchat is different from other social media platforms because it’s not primarily about content. It’s primarily about capturing memories and moments in time to share with friends or family members.
With each post, you have the opportunity to make a lasting memory for someone by sending them a snap. That being said, there are a few different ways to use your camera for this purpose.
Video-chatting with friends
Snapchat’s video-chatting feature is a great way to connect with friends and family without actually being in the same place. You can turn on your front-facing camera and talk to your friend, or switch over to the back-facing camera and see what they’re doing.
Snapchat’s video chat features allow you to see who’s online, make new friends, and catch up on old ones. You can also share your location for an hour or two, or find new friends that are nearby!
The selfie camera
The selfie camera is the default Snapchat camera. With this camera, you can take a photo or video of yourself from your own point of view.
