Toyota Supra Trims – The 2022 Supra is a two-door coupe with two seats. These seats are nicely contoured and provide a fine balance of hip-hugging support and all-day comfort. It is a more planted, more stable, more satisfying sports car to drive thanks to revised chassis tuning for this year. It now drives well enough to deserve the amount of attention it draws and the way it inspires folks to reach for their camera phones. The sonorous inline-six model also gets a healthy power and performance boost, and the new Supra four-cylinder offers a lighter, more direct driving experience at a more affordable price point.
The Supra’s interior has an unmistakable BMW vibe, from the gear selector and infotainment display to the restrained dashboard design. That’s not exactly a bad thing though. The level of fit and finish is great, many of the cabin surfaces feel substantial yet soft to the touch, and there isn’t much road or wind noise intrusion at higher speeds. All in all, it feels like a big step up from the brand’s entry-level sports car, the Toyota GR 86.

The 2022 Toyota Supra comes in four trims: 2.0, 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and A91-CF Edition. The key difference between these trims is found under the hood. Additionally, each trim adds a few more standard features than the last.
The entry-level Supra 2.0 is equipped with a 255-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive. Some of its standard features include an 8.8-inch infotainment display and matching digital gauge cluster, satellite radio, a four-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, a USB port, keyless entry, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery with Alcantara accents, and manually adjustable seats. Other standard features include a rearview camera, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, forward automatic emergency braking, LED headlights with automatic high beams, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Options include a Safety and Technology package that adds touchscreen functionality, wireless Apple CarPlay, a navigation system, a 12-speaker stereo, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors.
The Supra 3.0 trim features a 382-horsepower turbocharged six-cylinder engine, heated and power-adjustable seats, a 10-speaker stereo, an adaptive suspension, a limited-slip differential, larger brakes, and 19-inch wheels. The Safety and Technology package is optional.
The Supra 3.0 Premium trim comes with full leather upholstery, a touch-screen infotainment system, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless device charging, a 12-speaker stereo, and a head-up display. Options include a Driver Assist package with adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
The Supra A91-CF Edition production is limited to 600 models for the North American market. This trim gains a carbon-fiber front splitter, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, carbon-fiber side skirts, matte black 19-inch wheels, and leather upholstery with red Alcantara accents. The Driver Assist package is optional.
You really can’t go wrong with any of these models. The Supra 2.0 is an exciting sports car at a reasonably affordable price. However, the Supra 3.0 models are downright thrilling to drive, and they can easily keep pace with much pricier machines. Either way, you’re going to have fun.

Toyota Supra vs. Porsche 718 Cayman
The Porsche 718 Cayman provides impressive steering feedback, outstanding handling, and more than enough power for its small size. If you’re looking for an engaging driving experience, then you go for a Cayman. But to get into a Cayman at a Supra price, you’ll have to go with the base model, which has less power and fewer features than the comparable Supra 3.0 trim.
Toyota Supra vs. Ford Shelby GT350
The GT350 puts up a thrilling acceleration that is accompanied by an exhaust note capable of waking the dead and also boasts a back seat too. The Shelby GT350 is a track-focused version of the Ford Mustang with a high-revving 5.2-liter V8 and a similar price tag to the mid-and high trim levels of the Supra. The GT350’s interior isn’t as premium as the Supra’s BMW-sourced interface.
Toyota Supra vs. Audi TTS
Toyota Supra Trims – The Audi TTS is a few inches shorter than the Supra, but it has more cargo space and a back seat (albeit a tiny one). What’s more, it comes standard with all-wheel drive, which could be advantageous if you see your fair share of wet weather. The Audi also has a premium-looking interior. For maximum performance, however, the Supra is the better pick.
