2022 Infiniti QX60 And The Competition

The second-generation Infiniti QX60 has been fully redesigned for the 2022 model year. Infiniti brought back its luxurious three-row SUV with new tech, a modern design, more luxury, and plenty of advanced driver aids as compared to the first generation.

Staying true to the first generation model is its V6 which is now paired to a new nine-speed automatic transmission instead of a CVT. The powertrain provides brisk acceleration and fuel economy on par with competitors. Besides some road-noise, the cabin is comfortable, and the third row is large enough for adult-size passengers.

The interior boasts high-tech features and advanced driver aids. Standard features include a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, Apple CarPlay (wireless) and Android Auto (cable required) integration, tri-zone automatic climate control, forward collision mitigation, and rear automatic braking.

Infiniti QX60 vs. Acura MDX
Both The QX60 and Acura MDX share a lot in common. Ranging from similar engines, exterior styling, seating, and interior space and quality. The MDX comes tops with more advanced driver aids. Another vital difference is the availability of a sporty model. The QX60 doesn’t offer one, but the Acura has the A-Spec and Type S models.

The Q7 has a much higher starting price even though its base engine is less powerful, but it does offer a more potent optional engine. The Audi is also equipped with AWD on all models.
