Nokia Revealed 5 New Phones at CES 2022

Nokia 8.3 5G

Along with its distinctive wide 5G band support, the Nokia 8.3 5G features a huge 6.81in FHD+ display, a clean Android interface, and a Zeiss camera configuration.
The main 64MP Zeiss-engineered snapper is a significant upgrade over other recent Nokia implementations, and a special Cinema video mode allows you to shoot footage in up to 4K@30fps in 21:9 aspect ratio, with optional H-Log support.
When you add in two years of Android OS updates and all-day battery life, you’ve got yourself a fantastic Nokia experience.

  • Pros:Long battery life | Pleasing display | Pro video recording features
  • Cons:Plastic design elements | Poor palm rejection tech
  • From £499 (around $641)

Nokia XR20

The Nokia XR20 hopes to embody the brand’s legendary reputation for build quality, with a reinforced exterior that comes backed up by a year’s free screen replacement and an extended three-year warranty, for extra peace of mind.
Beneath that well-protected exterior, it offers similar internal hardware to the Nokia X10; with a Snapdragon 480 chipset and a 48Mp primary camera. However, the battery life is among the finest in the industry, which for some may be enough of a reason to buy a phone in and of itself.
Other notable features include 5G, a headphone port, and Nokia’s usual user-friendly Android interface.

  • Pros:Resilient design | Extended warranty | Clean Android user experience | 5G
  • Cons:Middling performance | Only 60Hz display | No power adapter in box
  • $549 (6+128GB)

Nokia X20

The Nokia X20, like the XR20 at its core, distinguishes itself through more elegant aesthetics and superior cameras.
The phone comes with stock Android, three years of OS updates, and excellent battery life, all of which are backed up by a three-year warranty.
However, the X20’s major flaw is its performance.

  • Pros:Premium design | Long battery life | Three years of OS upgrades
  • Cons:Lackluster display | Underpowered processor | Pricier than similar rivals

Nokia 7.2

The Nokia 7.2 is a cheap phone with a distinct look when compared to the majority of smooth, rounded smartphones on the market.
The Nokia 7.2 stands apart thanks to its sharper angles and the light-refracting glass on the back, which gives it a premium appearance.
Internally, the internals are rather normal for the price, with a Snapdragon 660 processor and either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and performance reflects this.
The Zeiss-made lenses were supposed to be the show-stopper, but we found the camera arrangement to be hit-or-miss, with fantastic results from the 48Mp sensor but underwhelming results from the ultrawide camera.

  • Pros:Premium finish | Good main camera | Great software
  • Cons:Average performance | Inconsistent secondary cameras
  • TBC

Nokia 3310 (2019)

There’s no getting around the fact that the Nokia 3310 is a nostalgia play, and how much you care about it will be determined on your feelings for ancient Nokia bricks.
It won’t (and doesn’t try to) replace your smartphone, but it can act as a low-cost addition (although the SIM size is annoying). Yes, competing feature phones are cheaper, but with the incredible battery life and the pure Nokia aspect (including Snake! ), we know where our loyalty lies.

  • Pros:Sense of nostalgia | Brilliant battery life | Easy to use
  • Cons:Awkward SIM standard | Relatively pricey | 3G/4G costs extra
  • $59.99
