Steps to Recover Disabled Facebook Ads Account
Hundreds of Facebook advertisers had their accounts deleted every day. Occasionally, for no apparent reason.
But, while this may appear to be a death penalty imposed by Facebook (as opposed to simply having your advertisements disapproved, which is relatively remediable), don’t write off your advertising days just yet.
Has your Facebook ad account been suspended? Are you unsure how to appeal the ruling and get your advertising back on the air?
You’ll learn how to appeal to have your Facebook advertising account reactivated in this article.
I’m here to reassure you that everything will be fine. You’ll be “all systems go” in no time if you follow the simple action steps outlined in this article.
It’s tempting to believe that Facebook is trying to get you in this situation. Remember: It’s not a vengeful human laughing maniacally at your pain behind the screen. Your account was suspended because the algorithm received a red flag signal, and it is Facebook’s responsibility to mitigate dangers at all times.
Acts That Could Get Your Account Flagged Red
The behaviors that typically trigger these red flags fall into two categories:
- High negative feedback percentages
- Not following Facebook’s Advertising Policies
When your advertisements generate a lot of negative feedback know that users who you advertise to on Facebook can leave reviews on the platform. They have the option of:
- Remove the solitary advertisement.
- Hide all of your Facebook page’s postings.
- I’m not a fan of your Facebook page.
- Report the content of the ad as spam.
It’s reported as negative feedback when a Facebook user reports your ad for any of the concerns outlined above.
It’s not the end of the world if one or two people complain an ad, dislike your page, or hide your material. The problem arises when the ratio of negative feedback increases in relation to the total number of ad impressions.
Navigate to the ad level in Facebook Ads Manager to get the negative feedback score for each ad. Select the ad you want to see and click Preview. Select Facebook Post with Comments from the pop-up menu.
How to Reactivate Your Account
Now that you know what happened, it’s time to figure out how to get your account back on track. This is a simple one! In the steps below, I’ll walk you through the full process:
- To begin, open Ads Manager. You’ll usually see a red bar indicating that your account has been disabled. To file your appeal and get your account back up and running, go to Contact Us.
- If you don’t see the red bar, it’s possible that you received an email informing you that your account has been disabled. To file your appeal, follow the instructions in the email.
- There are extra ways to contact Facebook support after you’ve submitted your appeal in Ads Manager to improve your chances of having your ad account reactivated.
- To do so, go to your ad account’s top-right corner and click the question mark icon. Then go all the way down to the blue icon that says, “Still need assistance?”
