Samsung Galaxy F62 Specifications, Review and Price

Samsung has released the Samsung Galaxy F62, the second handset in the “F” series and a more expensive alternative to the first, just five months after the Samsung Galaxy F41 made its debut as the “F” series’ initial smartphone. This smartphone’s unique selling point is a 7000 mAh battery, which calls into doubt the originality of Samsung’s M series.

Samsung Galaxy F62 Specs

Design and Display

The design elements of the Samsung Galaxy F62 can be seen on other smartphones that have previously been made available. Once everything is put together, the device is rather recognisable. The front and back panels display these memories.

We have stripes on the back and a dual-tone finish. The OEM branding, the square camera module, the LED flash, and the dual-tone finish all identify it as a Samsung smartphone. If you look attentively, you might see a similarity between their rear panels and the Samsung Galaxy M12.

Laser Green, Laser Gray, and Laser Blue are the three color choices accessible to fans who wish to purchase the Samsung Galaxy F62.

The front’s 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display has a punch hole in the top-center of the screen. The resolution of this display is 1080 x 2400, the pixel density is 393 PPI, and the refresh rate is 90 Hz.

Cameras

Fans who opted to upgrade to the Galaxy F62 or forsake the F41 will have to make do with a superior back camera setup. A specialized macro camera and an ultrawide camera with higher resolution are both included in this version.

The back camera setup consists of a 64MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 12MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 123 field of view. A 5MP depth camera and a 5MP macro camera, both with f/2.4 apertures, make up the remaining parts of the rear setup. With this setup, 4K videos up to 30 frames per second can be recorded.

The Galaxy F41, a prior model, and this one share a single 32MP camera on the front of the device. This camera has an f/2.0 aperture. Additionally, it can capture films at up to 4K frame rates. Refer to the specification page for details on the additional recording modes.

The Hardware and Software

The Samsung Galaxy F62 offers mid-range performance thanks to its Octa-core Exynos 9825 processor, Mali-G76 MP12 GPU, 6GB or 8GB RAM options, 128GB built-in storage, and non-removable 7000mAh battery.

The inclusion of a 7000mAh battery casts some doubt on the individuality of the Samsung M series members. The F62 overtakes the Galaxy M12 as the battery king despite having the largest battery in the lineup and being the most expensive model in the M series with a 6000mAh capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy F62’s operating system is Android 11, which is layered on the One UI 3.1 user interface.

Connectivity

Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, NFC, and a USB Type-C port are all features of the Samsung Galaxy F62. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also included.

Fans won’t have access to 5G speeds because the platform’s internet connection is restricted to 4G.

The Price of the Samsung Galaxy F62

The Samsung Galaxy F62 is available for as little as Rs. 23,999 ($331) in India. For Rs. 25,999, or $358, enthusiasts who select the top-tier 8GB / 12GB plan would be required to pay.

On February 15, 2021, the Samsung Galaxy F62 was introduced, and on February 22, 2021, it’s expected to go on sale.
