Display

The Samsung Galaxy A12 is different from its predecessor in terms of design. One of those mobile devices with a completely fresh style that can appeal to connoisseurs who were really pleased with the Samsung Galaxy A11’s appearance

On the back of the Galaxy A12, a square camera module holds four cameras. Under the module, there is an LED flash. Far down on the rear of the phone is the Samsung marking, which identifies it as a Samsung product.

The IPS display we have up front is 6.5 inches, making it somewhat bigger than the 6.4-inch displays on the Galaxy A11 and Galaxy A22. This display has the same 720 by 1600 resolution that the A11 has. However, it is around the same size as the more affordable Samsung Galaxy A02s.

Cameras

The camera is one of the biggest upgrades from the Samsung Galaxy A11. Fans who owned the A11 as well as enthusiasts shopping for smartphones at this price range are likely to be drawn to the major upgrades made by Samsung.

We have a quad-rear camera system with higher-res cameras as opposed to the triple camera system on the Galaxy A11.

A 48MP primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 5MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture make up the back camera system.

The front camera is an 8MP device with an f/2.2 aperture. Selfies can be captured on film using this camera.

Hardware and Processor

The Galaxy A12’s processor, like that of the Samsung Galaxy A11, wasn’t actually described much by Samsung, but we do know that it is an Octa-core Mediatek MT6765 Helio P35 (12nm) processor composed of two quad-core processors clocked at 2.35 GHz and 1.8 GHz, respectively.

The Galaxy A12 also has three triple RAM configurations: 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB. The storage options for users will be 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB. An integrated, non-removable 5000mAh battery powers this apparatus.

Software-wise, the user interface of the Galaxy A12 is developed on top of the Android 10 operating system. The smartphone may be updated to Android 11 with One UI 3.1.

Connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy A12 has a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, WiFi, and a USB Type-C port.

Fans won’t be able to use 5G for downloads, uploads, and streaming since this gadget only supports 4G LTE and is not a 5G phone like the Galaxy A22 5G.

Price

In Nigeria, the Samsung Galaxy A12 has a starting price of around 79,000 Naira. The cost of the smartphone on Amazon and other leading online shops is around $180. In Kenya, the Samsung Galaxy A12 starts at around 15,500 KHS, while it costs 799 GHC and 2,600 EGP in Ghana and Egypt, respectively.

The most expensive 6GB / 128GB variant costs users $236, which is equal to 89,798 Naira in Nigeria, 25,972 KSH in Kenya, and 1,380 GHC in Ghana.

Samsung revealed the Galaxy A12 on November 24, 2020, and it went on sale in January 2021.
