To make a Facebook hashtag, write # (the number sign) along with a topic or phrase and add it to your post. A typical example is, I’ll love to see #James today. The hash sign before the name, James will convert the name to clickable link and whenever someone clicks on the name, he/she will be taken to list of posts related to that hashtags on Facebook.
1. A Facebook hashtag must be written as a single word, without any spaces in between it.
2. You can include numbers in a hashtag, but punctuation and special characters (like $ and %) won’t work.
3. You can search for a hashtag using the search bar at the top of any page.
4. You’ll only see posts that were shared with you.
