How do I change the audience of a post I’ve shared on my timeline?

You can use the audience selector to change who can see stuff you share on your timeline after you share it. 
Keep in mind that when you share something on someone else’s timeline, they control the audience for the post. You can always access your timeline be:
  • Clicking your name at the top beside the Facebook search bar, if you are using a computer.
  • Clicking the 3 parallel bars at the top far right, if you are using the Facebook Android App. Then Clicking on view your profile. 
  • Clicking your Name or Profile at the top of your Facebook News feed, if you are using any browser on your mobile phone.

To change the audience of something you’ve shared on your own timeline:
  1. Go to your timeline and scroll down to the post you want to edit.
  2. Click the audience selector next to the date or time on the post. The icon will be different depending on its current audience settings.
