My Story vs Stories
Snapchat has two main features: My Story and Stories.
My Story is on your Snapchat story feed, which is on the left side of the app. This is where you can share what’s happening in your life right now. You can upload photos or videos to this section, caption them, and add filters to them. It disappears after 24 hours unless you decide to save it.
Stories are on the right side of the app. These are more like Instagram stories or Twitter Moments, but only last for one day. You can also add text or drawings on these stories, although they’ll disappear once you send them out.

Lastly, when you are ready to publish your moment publicly, tap on “Send” at the bottom of your screen. This will allow others to see what you posted for up to 24 hours before it disappears into Snapchat’s abyss – unless someone screenshots it first!
