Read: Here’s How to Delete Facebook Account of a Deceased Person – 2018
In our previous post; “Here’s How to Delete Facebook Account of a Deceased Person – 2018” we stated clearly that a deceased Facebook account can either be memorialized or deleted permanently.
According to the Facebook help centre, when once an account of a deceased person is memorialized, the content the person shared such as photos, posts and others remains on Facebook and is visible to the audience with whom it was shared.
In rare cases, Facebook considers requests for additional account information or content. You’ll be required to provide proof that you’re an authorized representative (example: family member) and a court order.

Worthy of note is the fact that sending a request or filing the required documentation doesn’t guarantee that Facebook will be able to provide you with the content of the deceased person’s account. In addition, Facebook will memorialize the deceased person’s account once Facebook receives your request.
