One Plus 8 Pro Specs Price and Review

One Plus 8 Pro Full Specifications Price and Review

The OnePlus 8 Pro elevates the company to new heights. It’s the first OnePlus phone to meet all of the requirements for a full flagship. It eliminates the majority of the flaws that plagued the OnePlus 7 Pro as a flagship device. The OnePlus 8 Pro comes with an official IP68 rating, 30W wireless charging, and a lot more.

Design and Display

The OnePlus 8 Pro has a design that seems like it was chiseled out of its predecessor’s body. It has the same curved edges, as well as a centralized rear camera bump and other features.

The existence of a hole-punch camera on the display and an extra rear camera, on the other hand, creates noticeable differences. In addition, instead of the circular corners seen on the OnePlus 7 Pro, you get squared-off corners.
The OnePlus 8 Pro’s display is unquestionably one of the most advanced on any smartphone. OnePlus has taken things to the next level. It has a 6.78-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 1440 x 3168 pixel resolution, 513 PPI screen density, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S20, which only supports 120Hz at 1080p, the OnePlus 8 Pro is one of the few smartphones that allows customers to use a 120Hz refresh rate while maintaining a 1440 screen resolution.
Please keep in mind that it has a variable refresh rate mechanism that lowers the refresh rate when it is not in use, such as when using programs that don’t support 120hz.
You also receive a motion smoothing technology that converts 24fps videos to 120fps by interpolating in-between frames, making videos look much smoother.

OnePlus 8 Pro Cameras

One of the issues that OnePlus has had to address over the years is its camera. Every one of its reviews has always included a ‘but.’ OnePlus, on the other hand, has made significant improvements to its cameras in the goal of competing with the best.

A 48MP primary camera, an 8MP telephoto capable of 3x optical zoom, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 48MP ultrawide camera are included in the OnePlus 8 Pro’s quad camera setup.

A Sony sensor powers its 48MP ultrawide camera. It takes 12MP images by default, but there is a 48MP option that fully utilizes the sensor, resulting in sharp ultrawide photos.

You can shoot 4k films at 60 frames per second, as well as 1080p videos at 30, 60, and 240 frames per second, with this rear camera arrangement. For photographs, you also get HDR and Panorama.

A 16MP punch hole camera is in charge of selfies. This camera can capture 1080p films at 30 frames per second and offers auto HDR for images.

Hardware, Software and Battery

The hardware combination is the most important aspect of any premium smartphone. OnePlus didn’t back down in this case. The OnePlus 8 Pro comes with high-performance smartphone components.

An Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, an Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, and a 4510mAh battery power the OnePlus 8 Pro.
Having storage variations capped at 256GB, in my opinion, speaks poorly of a premium smartphone. The lack of a micro-SD slot exacerbates the situation, as there is no way to expand capacity.

A 4510 mAh battery may appear large, but due to the power-hungry components it includes, such as its 120hz display, a battery as large as 5000 mAh or larger would be required to ensure battery life.

The OnePlus 8 Pro is equipped with a 30W wrap charge mechanism that promises a 50 percent charge in 23 minutes.

OnePlus 8 Pro Connectivity

A USB Type-C (3.0) port, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC are all included on the OnePlus 8 Pro. It is important to notice that it does not include a 3.5mm headphone connector. A USB-C headset and wireless headphones are available for private listening.

Streaming, uploads, and downloads are all limited to 5G speeds because to its 5G compatibility. However, you can only use this speed if you have 5G coverage.
