Design and Display

To be fair, the OnePlus 9 Pro has been redefined in my opinion. For this attractive item, the business chose a fresh design. Instead of the vertical cameras found on the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 8 series, it has a camera array that is positioned to the left, similar to the OnePlus 8T.
The Hasselblad branding is visible on the camera, indicating that OnePlus has a cooperation with the camera business. On the front, the phone has a curved display that is covered on both sides and is surrounded by an aluminum frame.

Pine Green, Morning Mist, and Stellar Black, which has a Sandstone-like look, are the body colors available for the OnePlus 9 Pro. It also has an IP68 rating, making it the only one of the three that can withstand water and dust.
The smartphone boasts a 6.7-inch display, which, as you can see, is larger than the previous model. Fluid Display 2.0, a QHD+ LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, is used in the display. It supports HDR10+, allowing you to watch HDR content on supported services such as Netflix.

OnePlus 9 Pro Cameras

Users will benefit from the finest camera performance ever thanks to OnePlus’ partnership with Hasselblad. The primary sensor is a 48 MP lens with a proprietary Soy IMX789, an f/1.8 aperture, OIS, Digital Overlap HDR (DOL-HDR), a 22 on-chip lens (OCL), and dual ISO, as predicted.

The camera can shoot 12-bit RAW photos, which means it can capture more colors than a typical camera. The video quality is 8K at 30 frames per second and 4K at 120 frames per second. A Sony IMX766 ultrawide sensor is also included, as well as a freeform lens that eliminates distortion at the corners of ultrawide angle photographs.

It can also take 4CM macro pictures. OnePlus opts for an 8 MP telephoto lens with 3.3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom instead of a periscope. Finally, a 2MP monochrome camera works in conjunction with the main sensor to produce White and Black images.

Aside from that, the smartphone comes with a number of photographic functions. It has a Hasselblad Pro mode, for example, which provides an interface similar to that of a Hasselblad camera. It offers a Nightscape video option that allows users to record brighter, crisper videos in low-light situations. The OnePlus 9 sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

OnePlus 9 Pro Hardware And Software

The Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 chipset with 5nm process technology powers the OnePlus 9 Pro, which is speedier than its predecessor. The phone is powered by an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.84 GHz and an Adreno 660 GPU graphics card.

It operates on the current OxygenOS 11 operating system, which is based on Android 11, and it will be updated to Android 12 and Android 13 in the following years.

The smartphone is available in two storage capacities, although it does not support a micro SD card. It features 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM.

Battery and Connectivity

The phone is kept running with a 4500 mAh battery. It works with Warp Charge 65T, a quicker and improved version of Warp Charge 65 that was released last year alongside the OnePlus 8T.

It also supports Warp Charge 50 Wireless, which is 50 percent faster than the basic model’s 15 percent faster wireless charging.

The phone supports dual SIMs and connects to a 5G network for rapid downloading. Other features include Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and an embedded fingerprint scanner on the screen.

OnePlus 9 Pro Price

The OnePlus 9 Pro costs roughly $1,069, which translates to 450,000 Naira in Nigeria, 6,300 Ghanaian cedis, and 123,000 Kenyan shillings. The phone was officially launched in India on March 23, 2021 (Official) for Rs 64,999.
