Apple MacBook Pro 2016 Specs Review and Price

Apple MacBook Pro 2016 Full Specifications Review and Price

For the first time in years, Apple has given the 13-inch MacBook Pro 13 a complete makeover, with improvements both inside and out. The high-end laptop boasts the quality design you’d expect from its maker, as well as increased power behind the hood and a slew of additional capabilities. Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Pro now comes in two flavors: Touch Bar and non-Touch Bar.
The long-awaited Touch Bar, a Multi-Touch OLED strip of glass that replaces the usual function keys, is definitely the biggest centerpiece of the 2016 Macbook Pro 13.

This touchscreen panel can handle a wide range of tasks, according to the program you’re using at the time. Touching the OLED strip, for example, can change the volume or brightness.
For your communications, the Touch Bar can also provide emoticons. There is a cheaper form of the laptop without the Touch Bar if you are prepared to forego this feature in exchange for a lower price.

Apple MacBook Pro 2016 Key Features

Display and Design

The new Apple MacBook Pro 13 is thinner and lighter than the previous model, thanks to its aluminum enclosure. It’s only 14.9mm thick and 1.37kg heavy, compared to 18 mm and 1.58 kg for its predecessor.

Silver and Space Gray have also been added to the color palette. In terms of resolution, the 13.3-inch Retina Display has remained same at 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The new model, on the other hand, is brighter and, more importantly, more energy-efficient.

Performance

The MacBook Pro 13 is believed to be more powerful in terms of processing and graphics crunching. It has Intel Core i5 dual-core CPUs from the 6th generation, plus Intel Core i7 processor possibilities.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 with Touch Bar has a 256GB or 512GB PCIe SSD, while the one without the Touch Bar only has 256GB. Both versions include storage options of 512GB or 1TB.
Both the Touch Bar and non-Touch Bar variants include 8 GB of RAM (up to 16GB), although the Touch Bar’s memory is speedier. The more expensive model has an Intel Iris Graphics 550 GPU, while the less expensive model has an Intel Iris Graphics 540 GPU.

Battery and Other Features

Touch ID is used to unlock the Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Touch Bar and to make in-store transactions with Apple Pay.

It also has four Thunderbolt 3 connections, whereas the non-Touch Bar version only has two of these connectors for charging or data transfer.

However, unlike last year’s model, there is no SD card slot.
Apple claims that the MacBook Pro 13 inch will last up to 10 hours on a single charge.
