Lionel Andrés Messi also known as Leo Messi, (born 24 June 1987) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward and captains the Argentina national team. He is currently a free agent, having played all his professional career for La Liga club Barcelona, whom he captained from 2018 to 2021.
Often considered the best player in the world and widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Messi has won a record six Ballon d’Or awards, a record six European Golden Shoes, and in 2020 was named to the Ballon d’Or Dream Team.

Messi is yes, probably the best dribbler of all time, Ronaldinho however is not even in the conversation.

A successful dribble will bring the ball past defenders legally and create opportunities to score.
Ronaldinho ability relied on skills to trick the defender’s mind, most of the times he would do some step overs or try a elastico to beat a defender and sometimes he was successful, but what he had in skills, he lacked in momentum therefore he could not beat more than one player, rarely two.
Messi in comparison is not much into skills but his control, balance and acceleration make him a dribbler several times more dangerous than Ronaldinho, Leo is simple but yet effective, sublime, sometimes it seems that the defenders are not even there, he passes one, two, three, four and more players, and still keeps moving, then what we realise next is goal.
Ronaldinho could bamboozled a player in multiple ways, a skilled player, but Messi can destroy an entire defense in a blink of eyes, a true dribbler.
