Interestingly, when you succeeded in blocking a friend on Facebook, the person won’t be able to:

1. See things you post on your profile

2. Tag you in posts, comments or photos

How to block someone on Facebook
If you’ve made up your mind to block someone on Facebook, do the following;

1. Select the triangular-shaped icon at the top right of your Facebook homepage and click Settings.

2. A new page shall display. On that page, navigate to the left column and choose Blocking

3. Next, type the name of the person you want to block and choose Block.

4. Choose the specific person you want to block from the list that appears and click Block > Block [name].

NOTE: Bear in mind that your Facebook friends won’t be notified when you block them. If you can’t find someone using this method, try going to the person’s profile and selecting Block from the three-dotted menu on their cover photo.
