You can block a person from seeing the material you post on Facebook, but there are several other types of blocking as well.
You can block people from sending you an instant message, block apps from contacting you and block events from sending you invitations.

How to view blocked list on Facebook
To see you blocked people on Facebook, you’ll need to the following;
1. Log in to your Facebook account
2. Navigate to the top right corner and click the small triangular shape icon to continue
3. Click Settings from the drop-down menu
4. Select “General Account Settings” at the left column of the new page that displays. You can also choose to go straight to the block list page by entering this link facebook.com/settings in your browser ASAP.
5. Now that you’ve been taken to the setting page, select “Blocking” to go to the Manage Blocking page, where you’ll find a list of seven types of blocking actions, from Restricted List to Block Pages.
6. For each type of block, you can see a list of who or what is blocked.

Facebook Restricted List
Facebook’s Restricted list is a feature that enables users to duck posts from specific friends on the social network by adding them to this list.
Any Facebook friend can be added to or removed from this list at any time, and there’s no limit to how many people can be on it.
To add a friend to a restricted list on Facebook, do the following;
1. Log in to your Facebook account. You can do that with your iOS, Android app or Tablet by click on the Facebook app.
If you want to use your personal computer, you can type https://www.facebook.com and log in to your account by entering your details in the login section of the Facebook homepage.
2. Next, go to the profile page of the person you want to add to your restricted list by clicking on their name in your Facebook news feed. If you can’t find the person, you can use the search button to locate the person ASAP.
3. Once you’re taken to your friend profile page, navigate to the bottom of their cover photo and click on the Friends🔻 button.
4. Next, a drop-down menu should appear. Click on either Edit Friend Lists or Add to another list. The menu text will change depending on what app you’re using or if you’re on the Facebook website, however, the function is the same irrespective of what it says.
5. On performing step 4 above, you will see a list of different Facebook lists designed to categorize the people you communicate with on the social network. Navigate down to the bottom of this list to the one named Restricted. Tap on it to add your friend to the Restricted list.
How To View My Restricted List On Facebook
To see all the people you’ve added to your restricted list on Facebook, do this;
1. Log in to your Facebook account as usual
2. Navigate to the left column of your Facebook news feed and click Friend Lists under Explore.
3. Next, you’ll need to click Restricted and you should see all the persons you’ve added to the list.
How To Remove People From Restricted List
To remove a friend from a restricted list on Facebook, do the following;
1. Follow steps 1-3 above on how to view a restricted list on Facebook.
2. Now, select Manage List in the top right
3. Click Edit List.
4. Finally, you have to click on a friend’s profile picture to remove them from your Restricted list.
