You can only edit your profile picture thumbnail on Facebook official website, www.facebook.com. Doing that will require you to be logged into your account. To log into your account, visit www.facebook.com and enter either your username, mobile number or email that is associated with the account and click the login button.

1. Visit www.facebook.com
