This week, after releasing it last year in other nations, Facebook rolled out its Avatar feature to users in the US.
The feature allows Facebook users, similar to Snapchat’s Bitmoji, to create a cartoon avatar of themselves. They could use the avatar in comments, Facebook stories, and messenger.
“So much of our interactions these days are taking place online, which is why it’s more important than ever to be able to express yourself personally on Facebook,” Fidji Simo, the head of the Facebook app, said in a tweet.

Step 1: On your iOS or Android phone, open up the Facebook app. In the bottom-right corner of your screen, press the three horizontal lines.
Yay!-Yay! -Yay! Yay! Now that you have finished making your avatar, you can tap the arrow sign on the upper right to share it with your Facebook feed or set it as a temporary profile image.
Tap on the sticker icon (the smiling square below the arrow) to see the various Avatar stickers, or click on the pencil icon if you would like to make any changes to your Avatar.
Simply tap the smiley face next to the gif icon and then tap the avatar icon at the bottom of the screen to use the avatar when making comments (fourth from the left).
