Poking, put more aptly is a simple but addictive feature offered on Facebook. Poking your friends sends them an instant notification saying “(Your name) poked you.” At this point, your friend gets the option to poke you back.

People can poke their friends or friends of friends on Facebook. When you poke someone, they’ll get a notification.
To poke someone:
- 1. Go to their profile.
- 2.Tap More.
- 3. Tap Poke.
