MC20, Maserati First Supercar

The MC20 is an Italian product with so much to offer from the Maserati brand. Its foundation is based around a carbon fiber chassis, co-developed with motorsport specialists Dallara. The wheels are suspended by motorsport-like double wishbones all around.

The MC20 comes into one of the most competitive of performance car classes, with formidable opponents such as the Honda NSX, Audi R8, Ferrari F8 Tributo, and Porsche 911 Turbo, not to mention new arrivals on their ways such as the McLaren Artura and Ferrari 296 GTB.

Powering the MC20 is a Maserati-designed 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 accompanied by an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. This performance delivers 621bhp at 7,500rpm with an 8,000rpm maximum.

The Interior Design of the MC20
The interior of the MC20 is as excellent as its exterior, boasting bucket seats with a perfect driving position that depicts a supercar. The car features nice stitching throughout on the seats, dashboard, and door panels. It also boasts enough passenger room with decent visibility. Maserati gave the MC20 a buttonless interior as its touchscreen is used in controlling most of the car’s features such as the A/C.

There is a knob to select the drive mode and two buttons for the transmission but there’s no park or neutral, only drive and reverse. The car comes with a simple and user-friendly center console. The window and volume control knob is located closer to the small center stack compartment.

The MC20 comes with an impressive 10.0-inch touchscreen with an infotainment system that’s easy to use and with nice graphics. What is lacking in the Maserati MC20 is sufficient cargo space as its occupants may wish for more places to put their belongings, as there are no cubbies or cupholders.
