Editorial standards & corrections

How we source, verify, date and correct what we publish — and how to tell us when we get it wrong.

Our editorial standards

Belmadeng publishes information that affects students' futures, so we hold ourselves to rules many exam sites don't:

  • Official sources first. JAMB processes are sourced to official JAMB material; institution facts to official institutional sources.
  • Dated and labelled. Every factual, time-sensitive page shows its source, the academic session, and when it was last checked.
  • Verified before published. Factual guides pass fact-checking before they go live; drafts and unverified content are never shown as verified.
  • Honest about gaps. When we don't know or can't verify something, we say so and point to the official source — we never guess.
  • No guarantees. We never promise admission, scores or outcomes.
  • Original practice. CBT questions are original, written from the syllabus scope — never scraped past papers, never leaked content or "expo".
  • No malpractice. We never help anyone bypass JAMB systems or examination rules.

Corrections policy

We fix errors quickly and transparently. When a factual page is corrected, we update its "last checked" date so you can see it's current. Substantive corrections to admission-critical facts are prioritised above all other work.

Found something wrong? Use the Report an error link (in every page footer), or email [email protected]. Please include the page address and what should change.

Authorship & review

Guides carry an author and, where appropriate, a reviewer, plus published and updated dates. Study notes and problem-solving pages carry the same source-and-date discipline.

Independence & disclaimer

Belmadeng is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with JAMB or any institution. Official processes must be completed on official portals. Practice scores are for self-assessment only and do not predict official results.
