- Classify files according to how they are organised. (Serial, Sequential, Index and random)
- Access files as appropriate (Serial, Sequential and Random).
- Classify files into: - Master - Transaction - Reference
- Explain the criteria used in classifying files - Nature of content (Program and Data) - Organization method - Storage medium - Date - Size etc.
