What is the code to buy data in Nigeria?
The NCC has mandated a unified data code, *312#, which now works across MTN, Airtel, Glo and 9mobile to open the data-bundle menu. Older network codes (MTN *131#, Airtel *141#, Glo *127#/*777#, 9mobile *229#) still work on most lines. Dial one and follow the menu.
How do I check my data balance?
On all networks you can dial *323# to check your data balance. Networks also offer app and SMS options (e.g. MTN: text 2 to 131; Glo: text INFO to 127).
Which network has the cheapest data?
It varies by plan and changes often — Glo is often strong on bulk monthly value, Airtel on weekly and night deals, and MTN on coverage with competitive plans. Compare current per-GB prices before buying, and consider reputable VTU platforms.
Do data prices change often?
