What pre-registration is
Online pre-registration lets you submit your enrolment details in advance, so your visit to the INEC centre is quicker. It’s the first step of the two-part registration.
How to pre-register
- Open cvr.inecnigeria.org on a phone or computer.
- Create an account — you’ll get a confirmation email to activate it (a social-media login may also be offered).
- Enter your enrolment information (personal details, address, state/LGA).
- Submit and save/print your slip with your appointment/centre.
What happens next
Your information is made available at INEC registration centres, where your biometrics are captured to complete registration. Bring your slip on your date.

You must still complete it in person

If you pre-register online but never complete the physical stage, you are not a registered voter — and your details won't appear when you later check your status. So treat the booked appointment as essential, not optional.
