Please note

Belmadeng is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with the NYSC. This is an informational guide — complete all registration and services only on the official NYSC portal (nysc.gov.ng and portal.nysc.org.ng), and never enter your login details or make payments on unofficial websites.

What the NYSC portal is

The NYSC portal at portal.nysc.org.ng is the official platform where prospective and serving corps members register, print documents, check their status and make any required payments. The main information website is nysc.gov.ng. These are the only official addresses.

How to log in (step by step)

  1. Open your browser and go to portal.nysc.org.ng.
  2. Click Login (or “Login Here”).
  3. Enter the email address and password you used during registration.
  4. Click Resume / Sign In.
  5. Your dashboard opens.

What’s on your dashboard

From the dashboard you can update your profile, continue or check your registration, print your call-up letter and green card, check the Senate list, verify documents, make payments and follow your mobilisation status.

Reset a forgotten password

On the login page, click “Forgot Password or E-mail?” and follow the reset instructions sent to your registered email. Use the same email you registered with.

Fix common login problems

  • “Session expired / time out.” This is common during peak registration when many people log in at once. Wait a few minutes, refresh, or try again off-peak (very early morning or late night).
  • Wrong email or password. Use the exact email from registration; if unsure, reset your password.
  • Page not loading. Try a different browser or network, clear your cache, and retry later during peak periods.
  • Account not found. Make sure you actually completed registration and your name is on the Senate list.

Stay safe from fake portals

Only ever log in at portal.nysc.org.ng. Ignore “portal” links sent by strangers on WhatsApp, Telegram or Facebook, never make payments outside the official portal, and remember NYSC will never ask for your password by message.

What you do on the portal

The NYSC portal (portal.nysc.org.ng) is your hub for the whole service journey. From your dashboard you can complete mobilisation registration, print your call-up letter or green card, check the Senate list, apply for things like relocation and name correction, print PPA and other letters, verify your certificate, and pay any required fees. Because so much runs through it, your login details are important — treat the email and password you registered with as keys to your entire NYSC record.

Logging in

To log in: go to portal.nysc.org.ng, click Login, enter the email and password you used at registration, and sign in to open your dashboard. If you've forgotten your password, use Forgot Password and follow the reset link sent to your email (check spam). Always use the same email you registered with — a different address won't find your record. During busy registration windows the portal can be slow; if so, wait and retry rather than creating a duplicate account.

Keeping your account safe

Your NYSC account controls documents that matter, so protect it: keep your email and password private and never hand them to a “registration assistant” or café operator who offers to “do it for you” — that's how accounts get hijacked; type the official address yourself rather than clicking links; and do your own registration where possible. Registration is personal and free of agent fees. If you must use an accredited café for biometrics, stay present and change any shared password afterwards.
