How the NYSC process works

The service year follows a clear path: your institution uploads your name to the Senate list, you complete online registration on the portal, you receive and print your call-up letter (showing your state and camp), you attend the 21-day orientation camp, you are posted to a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) for about 11 months alongside weekly Community Development Service (CDS), and you finish with the passing-out parade and discharge certificate. Graduates who are exempt receive an exemption certificate instead.
